Purple Wool and Sari Silk Wet Felted Scarf

Description

Reversible, handmade, wet felted wool scarf made with wool and sari silk fibers carded together.  Includes silk and bamboo yarn as extra embellishments.

For this scarf, I laid the merino and silk blend out flat and then added the embellishments on top.  Next, I added soap and water and agitated everything slowly with my hands and a few simple tools.  The fibers slowly integrate with each other to make the scarf.

It takes approximately 2-3 hours to make a scarf (not including drying time).  Each scarf is unique.
