Oak Leaf Garland

Description

For this item I wet felted a piece of fabric out of wool with embellishment fibers.  The colors used were from the autumn palette.  Once that was dry I cut it in oak leaf shapes and then wet felted it again to seal the edges.  I then strung ten of the leaves onto a waxed string.  Each string is slightly different but is approximately 9 feet long with a loop tied at each end.  The leaves can be moved around on the string in case you want them group closer together.
