Description
The pumpkin is made with a water colored merino wool with water colored viscose. The stem is made separately. It has a wire armature wrapped in wool. It was then covered in a wool and silk blend with greens, tans, oranges, and whites. The stem is wet felted separately. Once both pieces are dry, the pumpkin is stuffed with polyfill and the stem is attached via needle felting.
It was a fun process that took at 3 hours over multiple days (not counting drying time). The pumpkin is approximately 12 inches tall and 9.5 inches in diameter.
